Eskorbuto
HIGHLIGHTS Eskorbuto were a punk band from the Basque Country that emerged in the '80s and always maintained a clear distance from the so-called Rock Radical Vasco (Basque Radical Rock) movement. In 1983, their first single, "Mucha policía, poca diversión," was released, and it has since become an iconic record among punk fans and followers of the band. These double single reissues "Mucha policía, poca diversión" in its entirety and, for the first time on 7-inch vinyl, features two songs taken from the same recording sessions. DESCRIPTION In the '80s, Basque punk became intertwined with the Rock Radical Vasco (Basque Radical Rock) movement, although this was not always the case. Eskorbuto, for example, always kept a clear distance from the movement and everything associated with it. Hardship was an inseparable part of Eskorbuto's life and musical career. All of their records were recorded in the shortest time imaginable, partly because of tight budgets (studios were expensive and record labels were stingy), and partly because Josu and Jualma needed the money for other things... In 1983, their first single, "Mucha policía, poca diversión," was released, and it has since become an iconic record among punk fans and Eskorbuto followers. We are now reissuing it in its entirety, along with two other songs taken from the same recording sessions that had never previously been released as a single.
