| Whitecross is a Christian Metal band formed and founded by guitar virtuoso Rex Carroll (Fierceheart) in 1985 in Waukegan, IL. He joined forces with Scott Wenzel on vocals and they released their debut self-titled CD "Whitecross" on Pure Metal in 1987. Songs like Enough is Enough, Who Will You Follow, and the popular guitar solo, Nagasake (misspelled by the label) would bring life to the fast growing scene of Christian Rock and Christian Heavy Metal. Their early albums are laced with Carroll's signature neo-classical style shredding and fast, ripping technical guitar work. |
