But, at the same time, 012: Revolution in Just Listening is quite musical, its progressive song structures and odd time signatures revealing themselves more and more with each listen. The band negotiates its tricky compositions with chops to burn, delivering ferociously cathartic performances underscored by the assaultive yet textured noise of their instrumental work.
