| Written, recorded and completed during lockdown, CARNAGE is the first studio album from Nick Cave & Warren Ellis working together outside of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. The 8 track album was released digitally on February 25, 2021, with LP and CD formats following in May. Cave describes the album as 'A brutal but very beautiful record nested in a communal catastrophe'. Cave & Ellis' sonic and lyrical adventurism continues apace on Carnage, an album that emerged almost by accident out of the downtime created by the long, anxious, global emergency.
