 TWISTED CHORDS		 DOOM - FUCK PEACEVILLE
Reissue of this legendary Doom record with completely new artwork. When their former label Peaceville Records was sold to the major-label Music for Nations and with that the licences to the first Doom record, they decided to record all their early stuff again. The title was "Fuck Peaceville", it was released by Profane Existence and sold almost 10000 copies. This version is sold out and rare. The original member Bri Talbot made a new master of all 37 songs, and "Fuck Peaceville" was re-released by Twisted Chords now. Additionally the artwork was improved and looks much better than the original. Doom was founded in 1987 and in their first phase they were around until 1990. In this period they released the "War Crimes" LP, the "Bury the Debt-Not the Dead" split LP together with No Security and the "Total Doom"-CD. The legendary "Police Bastard" 7" of that time is nowadays the bestselling Crust single of all times. The band was not really convinced of the sound of the "War Crimes" LP and so "Fuck Peaceville" was their chance not only to irritate their old label, but to record the early songs with a much better sound. "Fuck Peaceville" contains 37 songs in 64 minutes. Besides the ironic "Bastard File In the Urethra of Paul Halmshaw" it has all the hits like "Police Bastard" and "Slave to Convention". It is angry , fast and direct Crust Punk, and together with Discharge is the inspiration for most bands in this genre. They have short lyrics directly screaming out what has to be said. After their split Doom members were in bands like Extreme Noise Terror, Napalm Death, Dirt, Sore Throat and Police Bastard. The double LP has a fold-out-cover, a poster and comes with download coupon!

Ruins from Bielefeld release their first full-length LP on Twisted Chords. After a demo and a split LP with Kyrest, Ruins now unleash an outstanding record which is in line with today's en vogue neocrust bands like Alpinist, Fall of Efrafa or Kylesa. Still, it's not simply another clone of Tragedy and the likes. This monster combines gloomy, uneasy atmosphere, rich sound walls, technical skill and incredible power. Right in time for the band's 20th anniversary and three years after the reunion album "Loyalty", Across the Border release their new album. "Folkpunk Airraid" dares to step back to the beginnings of the band: more classical folk and less punkrock with some more acoustic influences. So arise wonderful folk-punk anthems, that do not forget where they come from and never seem to be too soft. Catchy and danceable still having outbreaks in the direction of classic punk rock with electric guitars and sing-a-longs. Re-release of the first, long time sold out Across the Border album from 1994 with new artwork and one exclusive bonus track. "Hag Songs" was the great opening for Across the Border: a danceable, wild mixture of classic folk and punkrock. Think of the Pogues and the Levellers teaming up with fast guitar songs and political lyrics far beyond any irrelevance. On the recording of "Hag Songs" Across the Border was a seven piece band with guitar, bass, drums, mandolin, violin and accordion. MDC are one of the few living legends of punkrock, who are still true today. Beside "Millions of Dead Cops" the "Hey Cop!." record was one of the best and most essential MDC albums. It contains 15 songs produced in the typical unique MDC-style: something between punkrock and early hardcore from the 80s. Dave Dictor and Matt Freeman, who today has great success with Rancid, can beo heard on this record. "Hey Cop!" is now re-released on this German indie label with new artwork.

I guess (and I hope that) there is no need to say more about MDC than just the name of the band. We all know and appreciate MDC as one of the most important hardcore bands to come out of the USA. "Millions of Dead Cops", the first MDC LP from 1981, was responsible for the cult around the band and the best hardcore songs ever (take for example "Born To Die", "John Wayne Was A Nazi", "Kill The Light" and many more). Therefore we are really proud to re-release this wonderful record on one CD with the "More Dead Cops" album as a bonus.
