"Seven Inches" (SDR05) is the E.P. split between Bay Area Punk n' Roll trio, Jonny Manak & The Depressives and UK based garage punk band The Hip Priests. Released in partnership between Self Destructo Records and Reach Around Records, the seven inch vinyl will be available just in time for The Hip Priest's anticipated nine date US tour in Fall 2013 where they hook up with The Depressives for select dates in Southern California for its conclusion. Side A "Choose My Fate" was recorded in Jonny Manak's private studio "Cup O Pizza" up in the San Jose area with Neil Young manning the board; his backing band consists of Bobby Wilcox (Streetwalkin' Cheetahs, Dee Dee Ramone) and Thor Dsr (Flexx Bronco) making up the rhythm section. This E.P. is the follow up to his last album "Primitive Sounds For A Modern World" also released in conjunction with Self Destructo Records and Reach Around Records. Side B "Saints of Excess" was recorded at Bendingo Studios in Nottingham, England with their longtime engineer Ric Peete manning the mixing boards. The band consists of Nathan Von Cruz (vox), Austin Rocket (guitars), Lee Love (bass) and "Skintight" Tim (drums). Their latest activity has been a pair of 7" releases (including one with The Dwarves) with labels such as Ghost Highway Recordings, AM Records & No Balls Records and an opening slot at the annual Welt Turbojugend Tage in Hamburg for esteemed Norwegian punk rock band Turbonegro in August 2013. With artwork done by Portland based Kustom Kulture scene illustrator and PORK Magazine artist Sean Äaberg
