Since 2004, these four lads from the Netherlands known as Discharger have always fused a reflective branch of lyrics against their impulses of anger and violence. Discharger's 2008 release, the bluntly named, The Sword of Our Ancestors, clearly embraced the metal sounds that combine well with Viking Rock and lyrical subjects of the same. Desecrated Ground, 2012, rode in on the same double bass driven steed. But this release recedes back into a fast crunchy Oi!. The songs sound like a tough punk fusion with heavy metal rock and roll of other European Oi! giants like Discipline, Haggis, Ultima Thule, Ultima Asalto, Razorblade, Social Combat. While fans of Italy's forgotten sons, The Bloodline or USA's shadowed Battle Ruins, should all appreciate the combination. The Uprisers (which includes members of The Bruisers and The Radicts) bring a pure rock and roll version of punk here. The first song is a reworking of an old Radicts song, invigorated by female vocals by Britney Noyes. The energy continues with Britney belting out a new tune, "Ghetto Blaster". The ripping solo and building tension explodes in an unapologetic polarizing call to arms. 		7"

The Gonads exploded onto the South London Punk scene like an agitated pint of lager on a warm summer's day back in 1975. Spearheaded by founding member and punk zine writer turned Sounds rock scribe Garry Bushell (alias Gal Gonad); the band - inspired by Strummer, Lydon and the Ramones (with a subtle hint of Ian Dury and not so subtle hints of Monty Python's Flying Circus) continues to churn out punk classics into the 21st century.The Uprisers are a fairly new outfit featuring members of The Bruisers and The Radicts. This will be their first release. Rodger and Todd played in one of Portsmouth NH's original punk bands Five Balls of Power back in the 80s. They parted ways with Rodger forming The Bruisers and Todd moving to New York and starting The Radicts and later L.E.S. Stitches. 20 something years later, Todd returned to New Hampshire and opened Skeletone Records in Portsmouth. Rodger contacted Todd and hounded him (haha) until Todd finally broke down and started practicing with him, and the Uprisers were born.The history behind this release is, at the first 2000 Tons of TNT fest in 2011, The Gonads were supposed to play but the only person to come over to the states was Garry Bushell. Garry gave the Uprisers the song list and they were able to learn it and perform it in a day, without a hitch.This 7" is a co-release between Black Hole Records and Skinflint Music. Black Hole Records will have this release on white vinyl and Skinflint Music will have this release on red vinyl. The EP will also come with an mp3 download card. 		7"

This 4-way split double 7" comes on Oxblood and Bone colored vinyl and features two new songs from each band. Rust comes out swinging with ripping guitars and pounding drums. Motorhead love mixed with the fury of Lower Class Brats, APA, etc. The second track has a thicker delivery a la Anti-seen. Tough biker bar stomper. Guv'nors The mid-paced gritty ditty of city kids in "Punk Rock" kicks off their set. They have an English rock feel like Condemned 84 with a slight glam feel. Seems like an odd cast, but I swear it's true. "Downtown Boogie" picks up the speed considerably for a pub anthem like Cockney Rejects, Toy Dolls and Peter & The Test Tube Babies were hanging out. Revilers come back with their raw punch of punk fused with rock and roll. "Tell Me" has that Reality Clash feel of the late 90's. Angry furious rants over raucous guitar lines and solos perpetuate your fists into pumping along. "8 Second Society" is a lower tuned seething tune. Cracks & Scars have a more modern English punk sound combined with west coast streetpunk. Think of Code 1, Crashed Out, Whiskey Rebels, The Authority. Gang chants and sincere declarations make "Goin' Nowhere" an immediate sing along requirement. "Light & Darkness", the split's closer, brings a Bonecrusher/Roustabouts sound with a snotty punk vocal line. Again, your head will bounce to this as you raise a pint in cheer. 		7"
