Brothers Chip and Tony Kinman need no introduction. Over the years the two have blazed a trail on their own terms and stand as American musical originals. Their bands The Dils, Rank and File, Blackbird and Cowboy Nation have all garnered critical acclaim and enduring fan support. Ford Madox Ford is the latest Kinman incarnation and the four piece band describes their sound as "Blues." However, we all know that means it's gonna have the Kinman stamp on it and will be enduring and unique. Fronted by Chip on vocals and with Tony co-writing and producing you know it's gonna be a winner. The band's debut 7" single arrives May 6.

Porterhouse Records is pleased to announce the 40th Anniversary Edition of the Young Canadians "Hawaii" EP. Long out of print, this slice of early Canadian punk rock has never been re-issued in the past. Porterhouse will only press 250 copies of this EP on clear orange vinyl and we've taken care of the details like top shelf mastering and plating as well as dead-on artwork and full reproduction of the original inner sleeve. Added features include an Easter Egg insert containg Bev Davies' photo from the original artwork concept for the EP and a download code that allows purchasers to obtain a digital copy.

"Pummel" was the only record released by All in a short-lived recording agreement with Interscope Records. The 1995 full-length wasn't a big priority at the label and the record never got its due, inexplicably being swept over by both press and fans. However, history now shows that "Pummel" contains some of the strongest power pop songs the band has ever written. After leading off with "Self-Righteous" in a buck thirty eight, Bill, Chad, Karl and Stephen deal out snappy pop gems like "Breaking Up," "Miranda," and "Million Bucks," they get moody on "Long Distance," "Black Sky" and "This World" and they bring the laughs with "Uncle Critic," and "On Foot." The re-issue of this great punk record is long overdue and its going to connect with All and Descendents fans both new and old. Porterhouse Records is pleased to present its fifteen re-mastered tracks lovingly pressed on 12" 180 gram black vinyl.

Porterhouse Records is pleased to announce the addition of Steven Bradley to its roster. "Summer Bliss and Autumn Tears" is his debut LP and it features performances from members of Social Distortion, MC5, Redd Kross and MXPX as well as the Tom Waits and Jackson Brown bands. Production is courtesy of Steve Kravac who's credits include Blink 182, Less Than Jake, Pepper and MXPX. Jack Rabid of Big Takeover Magazine calls it "a Beach Boys cross-breeze, meets XTC's "Mayor of Simpleton." The album is a nod to Steven's love of power-pop. Listeners will hear traces of Matthew Sweet, Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe and Neil Young deep in the grooves.

Porterhouse Records is excited to bring another lost gem into the fold. Originally released in 1989 on Triple X Records, the Dils "Live" captures the raw power of the west-coast's first punk band. We're upping the package in a couple of ways. First, we've created a new insert containing all the original album copy and included never seen photos as well. But the real story is adding a never released 1978 performance from Mahubay Gardens in San Francisco to the package. The 36 minute CD also contains a bonus track of the band covering "What Goes On' by the Velvet Underground. We're also included a download code but the bonus track will only appear on the compact disc. Limited to 500 copies.

First pressing is on clear blue vinyl, hand numbered to 500 copies! "This American Blues" is the debut L.P. from punk legend Chip Kinman of the Dils, with his brother and longtime collaborator Tony Kinman on Production and co-writing. Mining what Chip calls "punked-blues" the band is described by Jack Rabid of Big Takover thusly: "the squalling guitars are like Albert King, Eric Clapton and young Jimi Hendrix expansions of Chess blues, with a Jean Genie stomp" The blue clear vinyl L.P. is housed in an old school foldover jacket that has been hand silk screened by the band. It includes a download code and a punky lyric sheet.

Porterhouse Records is excited to announce the addition of 'Creatures for Awhile' the 1983 classic from Personality Crisis to its catalog. Grounded in punk and hardcore but with a definite horror rock edge, Personality Crisis of Winnipeg left us but one full-length LP. Now regarded as a Canadian punk rock classic, the record was initially released via San Francisco based Risky Records in 1983. There have been a couple of sporadic "re-issues" created over the years but Porterhouse is doing one better. 'Creatures for Awhile' will become part of the Porterhouse catalog and kept in print full-time. We're starting things off with a craft batch of 250 pieces pressed on audiophile black vinyl, with all original artwork.

Originally released in 1985, "Wonderful" features founding members Keith Morris (vocals) and Greg Hetson (guitar), joined by Zander Schloss (bass) and Keith Clark (drums), who would serve as the band's rhythm section for the remainder of the 80's and 90's. Transitioning to a more mid-tempo, rock driven sound on this release, the band veered away from the thrashy hardcore tone that had been their trademark up to that point, but retained the socio-political satire and sense of humor that the band is famous for. "Wonderful" remains one of the bands most popular recordings.
