"Star" is the 1993 debut album by Belly who were Led by singer/guitarist Tanya Donelly, a former member of Throwing Muses and The Breeders, the album showcases her sharp song writing and vocals as she finally got the chance to shine on her own project. The album features the modern rock hits "Feed The Tree" and "Gepetto" which propelled the record past gold in the U.S. and helped make "Star" one of the highlights of the early 90s alternative scene. "Star" still sounds as fresh and vital as it did when first released over 20 years ago. Reissued on 180 gram vinyl with a 2-sided B&W insert. Long out of print as a UK import, on blue vinyl.

"Independent Worm Saloon" is the major label debut by the Butthole Surfers originally released by Capitol Records in 1993. Riding the wave of the early 90s alternative explosion the band used some of that major label money and hired former Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones as producer and the result is a tight in your face album that didn't tone down the band at all. Gibby Haynes is in fine form with his often hilarious and bizarre vocals and lyrics working their way into your brain on all out rockers like "Who Was In My Room Last Night?" and "Goofy's Concern" and on the more mellow numbers such as "The Ballad Of Naked Man" and "You Don't Know Me". Pressed on 180-gram Translucent Blue vinyl, limited to 1000 copies.

Floating Into The Night" is the 1989 debut album by vocalist Julee Cruise featuring songs written and produced by composer Angelo Badalamenti and film director David Lynch (who wrote the lyrics). The songs "Falling" and "Rockin' Back Inside My Heart" were both featured in Lynch's cult television series Twin Peaks, while "Into the Night", "The Nightingale" and "The World Spins" also appeared in the show. The instrumental version of "Falling" was the theme song for Twin Peaks while the album as a whole is almost an unofficial soundtrack to the series. The track "Mysteries Of Love" was prominently featured in Lynch's classic film Blue Velvet. Cruise's dreamy, light vocals match perfectly with the music and lyrics to make this album sound like it is unattached to any era or time. Reissued on 180 gram vinyl with a double sided insert by Plain Recordings.

"American Caesar" was originally released in 1993, a few years after the all star "comeback" album "Brick By Brick", the double album found Iggy returning to the studio for the follow up with his muscular, tight touring band and they made what is arguably his best solo record since "New Values" in the 1970s. The dark, loud and subtly atmospheric record was recorded in New Orleans with Producer Malcolm Burn. "American Caesar" finds Iggy exploring the dark heart of America in songs that range from all out hard rock such as "Wild America" and "Sickness" to calmer numbers like "Jealousy" and "Mixin' The Colors". Iggy also puts his stamp on the rock classic "Louie Louie" and makes it his own with some lyrical updating. He ends the record with the funny and brutal spoken word "Caesar" in which Iggy plays a U.S. version of the ancient leaders of the Roman Empire. This is most definitely an Iggy Pop record and a hidden gem in his catalog. Includes a previously unavailable insert with an image of Iggy on one side and the lyrics on the other.

"Eventually" is Paul Westerberg's second solo album, originally released in 1996, which has never been issued on vinyl until now. Coming 3 years after his solo debut "14 Songs" put his legendary band The Replacements to rest, "Eventually" is the most introspective album he made up to that point in his career. Although it's not as loud or brash as his earlier material with the 'Mats, it does have a couple of all out rockers such as "You've Had It With You", but the song writing on the album is more subtle and personal.
