Go." The Aggrolites have "Dirty Reggae;" and off the back of this album

family Deecracks. This three-piece have been around for 15 years, DIY
booked over 800 shows on four continents and self-released records all

FLORES Y FUEGO is a
hardcore punk band from Guadalajara, Mexico. Feeding on the anger and
discontent of modern life, the band's lyrical themes range from
questioning their place in the world to providing a voice for the
voiceless of society. They began to compose songs in the final days of
2019 as a collaboration between Rafael and Eduardo, previously of the
band CUCHILLO. By May of 2020, Melisa, the band's frontwoman, put
lyrics and soul to these instrumentals, and poured that attitude and
energy into the band's first demo recordings. The first demo, and
further recording sessions while the world was on pause, would become
this record - Altar.
FLORES Y FUEGO possess a powerful, raw punk sound, but they are a band
that defies limitations. They infuse their music with outside
influences and elements, and use their platform to speak from their
experience of day-to-day life and its frustrations. They provide their
point of view in the form of social critique from Melisa's uniquely
sharp perspective as a woman and an individual.

LION'S LAW - THE PAIN, THE BLOOD, AND THE SWORD
Since their first
release ,Watch'em Die" in 2013, Lion's Law quickly managed to become
one of the most important Oi! bands of our time and you would have to
live your skinhead-life under a rock in order to bypass one of their
energetic life shows or additional releases, which received positive
feedback throughout the whole scene. It is therefore no wonder that
their new album "The Pain, the Bloood and the Sword" was one of the
most anticipated releases of 2020. To cut this short, the boys did
deliver, but if you want to know why, hang on for an in-depth review of
their latest release.
For the first time ever, a Lion's Law release greets us with an Intro
which is fairly long, but as versatile as the album itself. It
therefore serves as an appropriate introduction to this new piece of
musical output. The Intro is followed by "PBS", which is justifiably
the title track to this album, as it sums up what the whole LP is
about. "PBS" introduces the listener to a darkened, medieval and
somewhat dystopian setting (created by the use of strong metaphorical
language), in which humankind seeks to survive. This theme shall remain
throughout the whole album. In "PBS", the main vocals are
way "harder" than the majority of familiar Lion's Law songs, a
refreshing change that has firstly been introduced with "Get it all",
one of two songs on their latest EP called Cut the Rope.

The Old Firm
Casuals' sound, message, and passion will not be limited by genre
labels. They are simply a true force to be reckoned with. Lars
Frederiksen (Rancid) and his band of crusaders continue to push the
boundaries of songwriting with this album, showcasing an ever-evolving
sound, as one would expect from such seasoned musicians. With "Holger
Danske," The Old Firm Casuals bring an intensity and focus not seen
before in the band's previous releases. "Motherland" is an infectous
anthem, inspired by his mother, a Danish immigrant. "Casual Rock -N-
Roll" channels classic AC/DC, and the epic "Zombie" feels like a
long-lost Motorhead song. By weaving this treasure trove of thematic
and musical influences with Frederiksen's own signature sound and
highly outspoken and unfiltered lyrics, TOFC have delivered an album
that will certainly turn heads fast, and likely warrant itself as an
early contender for record of the year. It's tough as nails, and shows
a very talented band truly at their best; breaking barriers and
stereotypes, and exemplifying the hooks and licks that cause so many

SUBHUMANS - WORLDS APART

Arguably the highlight of their Eighties output, the third Subhumans
album was recorded at Woodlands Studio, Castleford,
during Spring 1985, and released early the following year, a few months
after the band had split. Opening with the slightly
incongruous instrumental, '33322', what it lacks in rampant speed, it
more than compensates for with some truly sublime
compositions, assured arrangements and dizzying time changes. With a
front cover illustration inked by vocalist Dick, 'Worlds
Apart' saw the band find a veritable sweet spot in their song-writing,
spawning many of their best-loved tracks, such as 'Apathy',
'Businessmen' and 'Can't Hear The Words', but every single track on the
album remains an understated masterpiece.
As a staple of the punk scene, ALL of the Subhumans records are still
in high demand, and this long overdue repress of this album couldn't be
coming at a better time. Subhumans are one of the most influential
bands from the UK Anarcho-Punk scene of the 80's, filed right alongside
Crass and Conflict, and just as
relevant today as they were during the darkest days of Thatcher's
Britain.

Suedehead were an undefinable band of punks playing Northern Soul in
Southern California in the earlier part of this decade who deserve a
discography more than most. Their incredible 7" EPs were designed to
one day be compiled into an LP, and here it is in all it's glory, along
with a bonus 3-track 7" for your listening pleasure! Simba Records and
Pirates Press Records are thrilled to be helping this way overdue
release finally come into the world, the way the band envisaged it many
years ago. Davey Warsop, formerly singer/guitarist of UK band Beat
Union and currently fronting Sharp/Shock, found his second calling with
Suedehead while working as a producer at Hurley Studios in Costa Mesa,
CA. What began as a loose side project quickly became serious when Mike
Ness asked the band to open up for Social Distort ion after he heard
Warsop's rough demos. Quickly pulling together a band to join Social D.
on the road Warsop signed up Greg Kuehn (T.S.O.L., Berlin), Korey
Kingston (The Aggrolites, Hepcat), Nic Rodriguez (Fallborn) and Chris
Bradley (The Distraction). The Orange County based mod squad called
upon an eclectic background of influences including UK pub rock legend
Elvis Costello, mod punks The Jam, new wave pioneer Joe Jackson as well
as the UK's Northern Soul movement and the classic sounds of Motown,
but most importantly and even more obscurely, The Commitments. Self
releasing their string of 7" records, Suedehead toured the U.S., blew
up on local radio stations (including KROQ) and played Coachella. So
many labels showed interest in signing them, but nothing worked out
