This is their first release since 2015. The track Getting With You from side A is a song that got cut from their last full length album The Unseen Green Obscene. Side B is a cover song of There's A Place written by The Beatles. Both songs are hauntingly beautiful!

Black vinyl, limited to 150 copies. Genre: Retro Rock, Rock and roll The new EP, which is debuting, is their next step. It's All Happening comes just over six months after their full-length, and though the wait between releases seems short, they are still elated about getting the new material out there. This release is more whimsical than the last, with a new attitude hidden in the melodies. The premise of the title track originates in the headgear of friend of the band, Morley Bartnoff, affectionately known as Cosmo Topper. "He's got a city in his hat/ And he ain't got time for tricksters/ A city in his hat/ And his words turn into wizards," the lyrics begin, utilizing catchy slant rhyme and assonance at every turn. It's only natural to begin crafting a SimCity utopia upon seeing Topper's tophat, and Moore tells me: "I pictured him lifting his big hat and a city living underneath, with bicycles and the circus and wizards."

Genre: Garage Rock, Blues Rock, Rock N' Roll Short History of the band: The band is founded by Dave Morrison in Detroit, Hamtramck, Michigan back in the early 2000's as a sort of f-ed up performance art band. In the early days it was a completely shattered band. I mean even the gear was shattered-the snare drum was suspended in a metal trash can, zip-tied to the handles. So the early period the band was Dave and whoever. Then Dave reached out to Richard Wohlfeil after a while and said he wanted to regroup. Richie had sat in and jammed with him here and there, usually on drums, but Dave asked him to play guitar. That's when Dave stopped playing guitar in the band (he continued to write and play on his own developing his traditional repertoire (see Folk Blues Night No. 6 for some of that) but he said to Richie "I want you to play guitar and I want to just sing" so that's where they both started writing together, Richie on the music and Dave on the words, sometimes rehashing old songs, but mostly making up new ones. There was a short period of in and out band members and finally Richie asked if he could pick the rhythm section, and that's where the band has been ever since, with Charlie and Adam. Each mega interesting and accomplished in all they do. The band's motto is crash and burn as they have had repeated self destruction.

The 10 'Hello Ghost' songs are all about freedom. Will Z. decided to record the album away from his familiar environment: "I wanted to get out of my habits and go on an adventure because that's what 'Hello Ghost' was about." In February 2018, Pierre Vancraenenbroeck and Will went to Berlin, to Lightning Recorders, a studio where time stopped in the 60s. "We recorded all the basic tracks on museum pieces, from drums to amp, console to tape recorder. This sound and our discovery of the town build our music and created a very special atmosphere, out of time." said Will Z. Back in Liège, Will Z. invited other musicians to Studio 5 to appear on his album: Éric Trillet, keyboardist who played on the original songs in the 90s, Fake Empire (a band composed of three sisters and a friend) and a string section led by violinist Anne-Claude Dejasse. The band teamed with filmmaker Caroline Poisson for videos of 'Hello Ghost'.

Shortly after formation, Dream Phases released their debut EP "Maybe Tomorrow" on Lolipop Records. Obscure Sound's Mike Mineo called the album, "swaying, hypnotic melodies of vintage psych-folk and rock with a contemporary pop charm." The March release also marked their first tour including an official showcase at South by Southwest. July saw the band tour as part of the Mad Alchemy Caravan with a host of Los Angeles and San Francisco bands and, most recently, Dream Phases released their latest single 'Easy Love' on Lunar Ruins followed by another tour. The Emma Goldman Bust Out Brigade was born out of conversations that started several years ago between Mike Watt and Devin Hoff. After a Dos (Watt and Kira Roessler's two bass band) show in Oakland that Devin opened for playing Solo Bass, he handed Watt a copy Paul Avrich's Anarchist Voices' (https://www.akpress.org/anarchistvoices.html) with an image of Emma Goldman on the cover. "EG was way cool," Watt said through the driver side window, which launched he and Hoff into a conversation of the finer points of Red Emma's theories of the reciprocal nature of social harmony and individual sovereignty. Kira laughed at their nerdiness, and the punk bass legends headed out to the highway. Since then, Watt and Hoff have referred to each other as Comrade (without irony). The first time the Emma Goldman Bust Out Brigade was used as a moniker was at a benefit for Leonard Peltier (https://www.whoisleonardpeltier.info) that Watt and Hoff played at together, which eventually led to the recording session for this record. Watt organized the session and brought in the fabulous drummer Joe Berardi, and Hoff made the trek from L.A. to Pedro on the Red Line, his buddy Rusty's vintage Ampeg Baby Bass in tow. The music itself consists of improvisations based on bass lines by Watt and Hoff. The point was for the three to build non-idiomatic drums and bass-based improvised music, to hopefully enact in music some of EG's words on the relationship of the individual to the collective. Watt found phrases in Goldman's writing to name the songs after. The tracks are mostly instrumental, with the exception of the one word chant Atamansha that Hoff and comrade Tivona sang, a reference to early 20th century revolutionary Maria Nikiforova (https://www.katesharpleylibrary.net/t76jvf). The music is both free-improvisation- inspired by the revolutionary avant-garde musicians of the Art Ensemble of Chicago, Julius Hemphill, Alice Coltrane, etc.,-and also very much punk rock in its ethos of DIY egalitarianism. To paraphrase D. Boon: Punk is whatever we make it to be. Or as E.G. said: " I want freedom, the right to self-expression, everybody's right to beautiful, radiant things."

Their album Leo's Rising may dip its toes in the psychedelic waters, but it never goes completely under. Hailing from Texas, the unofficial state of experimental rock, they may have the home field advantage! But one thing that sets them apart from their psyche rock brethren is soul. Where most groups of the genre look to the psychedelic era for inspiration, Atlantis Aquarius are firmly rooted in the music aspect first and foremost. Blending folk, gospel, R&B, and good old fashion rock n' roll, the music of this duo is just as familiar as it is spacey. By keeping the focus on melody and tight grooves, they make the experimental aspects even more exciting when they come into play. The best track for setting up the mythos is "Waiting On The Next Life". It essentially plays like a theatrical trailer for the rest of the album. There's a funky groove, gospel vocals, and gnarly organ tone complete with a Billy Preston-esque piano solo, all wrapped up in the perfect preview of what this band is about.

Los Angeles, CA, sometime around '92, a guy named Derek walks into a record store. He really, really likes Death Metal and everything associated with it. Spends a lot of time discussing his obsession with Kurt who works behind the counter. Kurt makes a fateful decision: "I gotta get a recording of this guy talking about Death Metal!". Kurt gets Derek's number, goes home, makes the call and records it. What Kurt got was much, much more than he bargained for, and what you have right here in your filthy mitts is the document of that depravedly divine 45 minutes of madness. "Yeah", you say, "but how did it GET right here in my filthy mitts?!". Well, real quick: I knew the aforementioned Kurt and he gave me a copy of the tape because he knew I'd think it was funny. But boy oh boy, lemme tell ya, I thought it was a lot more than funny; I thought (and still do) that it was a holy scripture of hilarity and one of the finest slices of deranged American audio folklore I'd ever heard. Being in a band as I was and knowing many other people in bands that had to endure the long drives and tedium of touring in a filthy van for weeks on end, I started passing out (cassette) copies of "The Derek Tape" almost as a secret handshake, with no explanation, as an antidote to van boredom. The tapes got passed on and on and the rest is just history. Now buckle up and let Derek and Kurt take you to a secret world where a junkie named Terry, King Diamond, The Necronomicon, Paganini, Ritchie Blackmore, and one infamous car boot all live on the same plane of glorious, PCP soaked existence. Cassius King is a heavy metal band with lead singer Jason McMaster, guitarist Dan Lorenzo, drummer Rin Lipnicki, and bassist Jimmy Schulman. Jason McMaster explains, "It was the kind of material I had been wanting to do for a long time. It feels a bit like Ozzy and Dio playing poker over some leftover Sabbath material. The melodies came to me quickly, as well as some of the lyrics. Things I already had fit the visions I had upon first listen and it all flowed immediately. I would not call it a full "doom" application of terms, but its heavy, it reminds me of what I love about Sabbath and Dio songs."

"It's a dance-your-problems away album," Alex, lead singer, states, "Even though we all go through bummers, we can still jump around, rock out, have a good time, and not take life too seriously. Overall, it's our most movable album." Spencer, guitar and vocals,. "We really combined the spectrum of our influences to make you move." From the onset of the process, the band collaborated more than ever before with Mike Schadel, drums, producing and recording Take Me in the band's own studio and mixing and mastering it with Josiah Mazzaschi (Built To Spill, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Light FM). The band's influences include Garbage, The Hives, Roy Orbison, Modest Mouse, Wilco, Radiohead, The Cure, The Smiths, and Wes Anderson movies. In the end, Livingmore invite you on the ride with them. "I'm personally following a non-conformist path," Alex. "I live my life like that. The album's big message is to follow your unique path." "You're getting to know who we are in these songs, and the music is meant to reflect everything we're into. It's a nice rollercoaster ride," Spencer.

The most refined of VESSEL OF LIGHT's releases, Last Ride is rife with depth, harmonies, the trademark riffs and guitar sound of guitarist Dan Lorenzo and creativity while also maintaining a familiar feel. Founded in 2017 by Lorenzo, best known for his work with seminal New Jersey bands Hades and Non-Fiction, and Cleveland based Opposition, the duo released two albums, Vessel of Light and Woodshed, with Italian label Argonauta Records before introducing former Overkill drummer Ron Lipnicki and former Hades bassist Jimmy Schulman into the fold for the recording of a third album, Thy Serpent Rise. It wasn't until VESSEL OF LIGHT's first live show before a sold-out crowd at New York City's Bowery Ballroom with Life of Agony that vocalist and the band's new drummer and bassist finally met, merely hours before the quartet hit the stage.
