Originally issued in August of 2010, the first incarnation of these songs were a self-released cassette titled WHITE STAINS on BLACK TAPE. The strength of the material immediately grabbed the attention of DARKTHRONE'S Fenriz, who proudly proclaimed it one of his favorite recordings of 2010. Additionally, the tape garnered the appreciation of Finland's own SVART records, who issued the songs on vinyl (becoming WHITE STAINS on BLACK WAX with the new shift) in 2011. In the years to follow, the 7" and tape became cult favorites amongst rabid underground music fans and, with the meteoric success of the band's 2013 full length debut CLIMAX, copies became impossibly scarce and began to fetch hundreds of dollars on ebay. In 2014, SVART Records repressed the 7" for European territories while Magic Bullet was tapped for North American production and distribution. The release is now widely available worldwide for enthusiastic music fans everywhere. This pressing is RED, WHITE, and BLACK vinyl copies. No export to UK or Europe.

Two brand new and exclusive tracks from an amazingly complementary pairing of Los Angeles, CAs BLACK MARE and Mesa, AZs LYCIA. BLACK MARE is the dark ambient solo project of IDES OF GEMINI frontwoman Sera Timms. On "Low Crimes," bandmates from IDES OF GEMINI and MUSTARD GAS & ROSES (MGR) contribute to the sonic journey; an aurally lush, yet glacially-paced cruise through Timms frozen world wherein she encourages the minds eye to notice relics like the feathers of fallen angels scattered about the snow. Ice crystals form on an old church bell in the distance as the subarctic tones of the composition take over everything in their path. There is no escape and there will be no thaw. LYCIA initially came to prominence back in the late 80s and 90s with their groundbreaking darkwave and ethereal wave styles. Heavily reverbed guitars, dark/ethereal keyboard tones, and ominous programmed drums pushed the gothic scene forward as their music inspired NINE INCH NAILS, TYPE O NEGATIVE, and many within tangential dark, industrial circles. Their 1995 album "The Burning Circle and Then Dust" (on Projekt Records) remains a cult hit to this day. "Silver Leaf" plays out as the seamless companion to BLACK MAREs "Low Crimes," both musically and thematically. There is no joy in either artists world, only an eternity to ponder whats been done. "Silver Leaf" comes about long after summer is gone, "where bright horizons are hard to find." All that remains is reflection and memory slipping like sand through worn fingers. All copies are pressed on limited edition, one-time-only runs of either grey swirl or black vinyl. The title goes immediately out of print after Record Store Day. Exclusive cover art and insert art by the bands themselves round out this frostbitten slab of wax.

Richmond, Virginia's Bleach Everything and Los Angeles, California's VORS have paired together to release a split 7" single marking both entities' debut on vinyl format. Bleach Everything kick off the festivities with "The Moaner", a demented little number about a violent man that lives in your attic undetected. Musically, the pace is as frantic and urgent as the final sands in the proverbial hourglass. Drums are crushed, buzzsaw guitars cut deeply across the speakers, and overdriven bass pushes along the possessed and just flat out eerie vocals in a pre-meditated murderous game of musical chairs. Featuring current members of Iron Reagan, Suppression, and formers members of Jesuit and Corn on Macabre, you know it's going to be a completely twisted take on music as most people conventionally know it. VORS (J. Bennett/Ides of Gemini) complements the violent carnage via a deliberate dead-behind-the-eyes ditty appropriately titled "Mood Swinger." Synth-heavy, and glacially paced, the tracks sound like it was driven from the fire escape outside of the kitchen window you're obliviously walking around behind. Drenched in the gritty low-budget outsider sleaze that defined many of the great VHS hit's of the 70's and 80's that could have been the soundtrack to "Maniac", "Deranged", or "Possessed". It's cold, it's rainy, and it's likely that VORS is talking and laughing to himself while cutting the phone lines in your neighborhood. Black or white vinyl available. Comes with download code.

Back in 2005, COLISEUM's Ryan Patterson self-released a 12" on his label Auxiliary which featured both his band and Boston's DOOMRIDERS' ultimate tribute to the almighty DANZIG. Each band turned a cover of a song from the classic debut DANZIG LP, with COLISEUM adding two originals and DOOMRIDERS putting up one original. A CD version of the release was also issued on the defunct Level Plane label. While the COLISEUM material was later repackaged into a collections release on Temporary Residence, the DOOMRIDERS material remained out of print for many years. As part of the upcoming celebrations to commemorate Magic Bullet Records' 20h anniversary, the label is in turn celebrating the friends and musicians (lifers) that were a significant inspiration as the years went on, starting with a split 7" featuring both bands' DANZIG covers from the 2005 Not of This World split. This special, limited reissue features brand new DANZIG tribute artwork from the steady hands of visual artist Florian Bertmer.

Two brand new and exclusive tracks from Los Angeles, CA juggernaut IDES OF GEMINI. "Cathage" inhabits side A. It begins with a doomy, acoustic summoning of the spirits of a barren world. Invocation complete, the band goes full tilt into their brand of overdriven power and command, charging onward and upward through forest and sky, dragging the doomed, sorrowful carcass of humanity itself into light. Written and recorded after "Old World New Wave" (Neurot/Sige), the track offers another brilliant moment in the bands beautifully evolving sound. Side B is one of the most stunning and emotionally stirring covers of "Strange Fruit" ever put to tape. Written as a poem by Abel Meeropol in 1937, and set to music famously by Billie Holiday in 1939, the song stems from Meeropols original protest piece against the racial lynchings that marred the early 20th century in America. It has been covered many times over since (including versions by NINA SIMONE, LOU RAWLS, ANNIE LENNOX, JEFF BUCKLEY. SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES, DIANA ROSS, TORI AMOS, and countless others). IDES OF GEMINI dug deep on this one, perfecting a uniquely somber and haunting arrangement the poem/song has simply never seen. Hailing from Reno, NV and San Francisco, CA, THE INFAMOUS GEHENNA have been nihilistically terrifying audiences for the greater part of two decades. Their contributions to Heavy Metal Suicide continue to thematically blur the lines between DIY and DUI with song titles on brand new scorchers "Looking to Score" and "Get Fucked Up!" Both tracks capture a point in the band's ongoing lyrical narrative of life and death where there is hardly any separation between the two and both are acceptable (so long as there is an escape therein). Recorded by former INTEGRITY member Rob Orr, this documentation captures THE INFAMOUS GEHENNA right where you want them: needing to up the dosage from last time in order to get your fix. Now scattered between Virginia and California, BLEACH EVERYTHING turn in their third release (and second split) to date, this one fully embracing the tried and true philosophy of "short, fast, and loud," with each song hovering around the minute flat mark. Thematically, the band tackles topics like inauthenticity ("Witch, Please"), the environmental militancy of particular Godzilla rivals ("Silk and Scales"), and the strange phenomenon of many American adults attempting to address their inner voids with incessant breeding ("Human Mulligan"). The POWER TRIP material culls the two original tracks from their Self-Titled 7" on Lockin' Out Records, originally released in 2011. Previously unheard or released prior, INTEGRITY also contributes "Her Eyes is Filled with ?tars," their unique cover of the bizarre song that Howdy (Crispin Glover) serenades Stephanie (Jenny Wright) with in the 1989 film Twister. The cover song is exclusive to this split across all formats. Couple old friends getting together to make heavy depressing/empowering racket. Pupecki also plays guitar in (doomriders) and Bevilacqua was their original drummer!!! Driven by a bestial, hard-hitting mid-tempo grind and a distinctly unpolished, ugly, and bottomless bass rumble, the wheelhouse of this band is clearly the rhythm section. Above the maelstrom, the guitar alternates a discordant ooze with effect-laden sludge atmospherics and consistently unsettles you with brutally effective tritonal dissonance before spacing out in smooth doomed slow jam riff territory (sometimes within a single phrase). In the length of 18 minutes and 5 tracks they will keep your head bobbing even as the groove wobbles and weaves in gruff almost-disharmony. Ragged feedback and thick-as-hell crunch, set the abysmal mood for the submerged hypnosis of the main riff in ollow Black Eyes', which barely moves on the fretboard yet somehow feels liquid and mobile. The strange and phenomenal lead near the end howls with a curious sort of offset wavering/watery feel that matched the yawning void of the verse in a perfectly subtle way.

Thematically, Sacrificial delves further into singer Nathan Opposition's personal ascent into the unanticipated enlightenment of exploring humanity's universal darkness. Whereas traditional lore dealing with the occult, paganism, and Satan tends to be heavy-handed (and often synonymous with a proverbial descent away from any sort of positive self-affirmation), Sacrificial spins a slant wherein "down" becomes "up." Humanity is the Devil, by INTEGRITY, has long been regarded as the album that completely turned both hardcore and metal on its head. This particular recording and accompanying video holds a special place in the hearts of the INTEGRITY faithful, as it features the revered lineup of Dwid Hellion on vocals, guitarists Aaron Melnick and Chris Smith, bassist Leon Melnick, and drummer Dave Araca. Initially released in 1995 via Victory Records, INTEGRITY Systems Overload is one of the most vicious and iconic pieces of hardcore's storied lineage and, while countless legions worldwide will forever praise the album, it was never presented in the way the band had initially intended. After a series of rushed/confused mixing sessions, the final product was submitted more at the end of a long, frustrated rope than any "victory" over the mixing board. Last year, former INTEGRITY guitarist Aaron Melnick and current guitarist Robert Orr collaboratively took on a mission to bring forth the true vision of what the now-legendary Systems Overload LP was to have brought forth initially. Through unearthing the initial masters of the extensive recording sessions, the guitarists from two different eras were able to cull all elements of original and alternate takes of the material and elevate them to a new level, incorporating both new contributions from Melnick and Orr alongside lost solos and divebombs from the initial sessions. The 2013 Systems Overload mix showcases a much more organic and raw side of this timeless album, bearing fan favorites like the opening track "Incarnate 365," the rabid "Armenian Persecution," the plodding "Jimson Isolation" and the enduring title anthem. The dark, visionary brutality of the initial recording is retained, but the band's punk and Japanese hardcore influences erupt forth with new vitality.

The high-water marks within the canon of heavy music can typically be both rapidly acknowledged and recognized by album names alone. Jane Doe, Until Your Heart Stops, Jupiter. Quite often, because of how impacting and paradigm-shifting the first listens are, fans of said albums can vividly recall the whens and wheres of the first time they encountered or purchased these works. Two of the creative minds behind the three classics cited above are Stephen Brodsky (CAVE IN) and Ben Koller (CONVERGE). Having done numerous tours together during their lengthy tenures in both bands and having forged a connection spanning over a decade, it stood to reason that, when the two individually relocated to their current home of Brooklyn, NY, eventual collaboration could emerge. In fact, "collaboration" might be a bit of an understatement here, as it sometimes implies something almost whimsical or done as a favor from one party to another. If Helium Head is any indication, MUTOID MAN is far more than just a couple of established musicians doing some temporal weekend jamming. From the opening notes of album starter "Gnarcissist," it's hair-raisingly clear that Brodsky and Koller have fully-immersed themselves in yet another true gem and have served notice to fans and peers that the originators of a very specific brand of heavy music oft imitated, yet never quite mastered elsewhere, still hold firm dominion over the sonic landscape they carved out themselves many moons ago.

While injecting the energy and enthusiasm of a basement show into a more refined musical composition, NY IN 64 attempts to harness two sides of many coins; youth and age, rawness and precision, joy and hostility.

The release is semi-dual-reissue in nature, as INTEGRITY's contribution is a retooled, remixed rendering of their 2010 Magic Bullet Records 7" VVe Are the End. The POWER TRIP material culls the two original tracks from their Self-Titled 7" on Lockin' Out Records, originally released in 2011. Previously unheard or released prior, INTEGRITY also contributes "Her Eyes is Filled with ?tars," their unique cover of the bizarre song that Howdy (Crispin Glover) serenades Stephanie (Jenny Wright) with in the 1989 film Twister. The cover song is exclusive to this split across all formats. Brand new artwork and layouts by INTEGRITY's Dwid Hellion draws further cohesion between the bands on this one, as both physical formats feature a "co-headliner" visual presentation and a foldout poster containing all lyrics, credits, and additional original artwork.
