Leftwing
Recordings is a highly dynamic and successful Los Angeles based management and
record label started by long time label A&R fat cat Steven Melrose who has
guided careers for bands including the Crystal Method, Giant Drag, Midnight
Movies and Jessica Dobson.
The
Marketing division is similarly as seasoned getting it’s direction from Tim
Husom who has championed the Emperor Norton Records (ladytron, lost in
translation, felix da housecat) marketing campaigns for the past 5 years and
Elise Feuerbacher who spent the past 2 years at Filter Marketing (+ magazine) as
part of their internet and general marketing team.
