BEDROOM SHRINE - NO DEJA VU
"No Dejà Vu". A feeling? An anti-feeling? A culmination of words and,
yes, feelings. Bedroom Shrine cannot be summed up by just one feeling.
No, it is a conglomeration of indie-rock, blues, americana, and
gut-felt passion. "No Djà Vu" is the first offering from Bedroom
Shrine. Fronted by Johnnie Cluney (famed illustrator of over 3,000
Daytrotter.com images), Bedroom Shrine began when Cluney and drummer
Dennis Hockaday left their former project, Mondo Drag. Together with
Bambi Suits (rhythm guitar) and Aiden Landman (bass) they have
assembled a lonesome, rock and roll, lo-fi jewel. These are gritty
songs of love, truth, and revenge, written during a time of great loss
by Johnnie Cluney.

CHRASH - THINGS MY FRIENDS SAY
From Davenport,
Iowa, comes a band as fluid and strange as its name: Chrash. Accessible
and catchy pop-rock, Chrash entices the listener to want more, ever
more.
Their quirky, self-described "phantom rock" (a genre they lay claim to
creating) has had a fan base for many years, as they played alongside
such talents as The Meat Puppets, Cracker, The Donkeys, Corey Chisel,
Caroline Scott and the Good Night Sleeps, and The Daredevil Christopher
Wright.

DAWN, THE - WOOLY
For over a decade
The Dawn has been conjuring up magical, soulful live performances with
amazing grooves and stellar improvisations. On The Dawn's new endeavor
they've captured their explosive live performances in the studio.
"Wooly", the new album from The Dawn not only draws from their past
influences like The Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers, but has some of
the pop sensibilities of Ryan Adams, quirkiness of NRBQ and the soulful
vibe of 60's to retro R&B. "Wooly" has the feel and sound of a
1970's jam band classic and a lot of that is due to the freedom they
gave producer Pat Stolley (Co-founder of Daytrotter.com) in the studio.
The Dawn have been making the jam band fest circuit in the past few
years and always getting the invite back, including Summer Camp, Phases
of the Moon and their own festival, "Dawn and On", which draws over
1,000 people each year.

FRANK, DEVIN - THE VANISHING BLUES
Mixing psych sounds
with good, old-fashioned, straight-on pop, Frank captures the listener
with his Donovan-esque magic. Instruments play a big role - and not
just guitar, bass,
and drums. Bongos, autoharp, tambourine, and flute all have their big
moments, and as you listen you are carried away on the wings of its
ethereal psych-folk sensibilities. As you drink in Frank's special
blend of musical wonder, you feel his influences: from Kevin Ayers and
Mayo Thomson, to Scott Walker, Bob Dylan, and Cass McCombs/solo Paul
McCartney. Frank, late of
The Poison Control Center, Mantis Pincers, FLiight, Jowlz, and Devin
Frank's Vanishing Blues Band, wrote these songs with the intent of a
solo release. He describes them as part-60's folkrock, part early
singer-songwriter, part 90's lo-fi (or mid-fi) indie rock. As a member
of The Poison Control Center, he toured/played shows with Pavement,
Apples in Stereo, The Mountain Goats, Of Montreal, Elf Power, Cursive,
and Calvin Johnson, among others.

KALISPELL - PRINTER'S SON
"Printer's Son" is
Kalispell's second full-length album, and was recorded in Eau Claire
WI, and co-produced by Grammy winner Brian Joseph (Bon Iver, Sufjan
Stevens). Kalispell is a moniker for Shane Leonard. Shane is the
percussionist for the band Field Report and currently touring with The
Stray Birds. "Windfall reminds me of those Wilco ballads that amount to

The Multiple Cat
blends the sensibilities of synthy new-wave pop with the roughness of
guitar rock to make 'Intricate Maps' a stellar album, full of quirky,
thoughtful lyrics and a catchy musical style - reminiscent of XTC and
Modest Mouse - that will have you singing along as you listen and then
humming those very songs long after.
The Multiple Cat is a studio project, formed in the mid-nineties, that
plays and tours live. It was created and steered by Patrick Stolley of
Davenport, IA, and a cast of guest musicians. The current lineup
includes Stolley (guitar), Ben Crabb (bass) and Andrew Barkau (drums).
Stolley is a founding member of Daytrotter (daytrotter.com) and is
their founding and current engineer, and is owner of Futureappletree
Records and Future Appletree Too studio in Rock Island, IL. At
Daytrotter, he has engineered over 1200 sessions with such varied
musicians such as Andrew Bird, Ra Ra Riot, Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver,
Low, Fleet Foxes, Dirty Projectors and Delta Spirit.

SUNDE, J.E. - NOW I FEEL ADORED
J.E. Sunde's
sophomore LP, "Now I Feel Adored", is the house built on the foundation
of his first LP, "Shapes that Kiss the Lips of God". This number two LP
strips away the spinning complexity and peers through a clearer, but
darker lens. The signature detailed weavings of melody are present, but
the real feature here is in the bass guitar and vocal. Referred to as
a, "bass forward" effort by Sunde himself and played by Andrew Thoreen
of Har-Di-Har fame. The tracks on this LP flow from the start, a duet
with Monica Martin (of Phox) on the Irish folk-type tune, "I Will Smile
When I Think of You". The essence of a kind of full minimalism and

SUNDE, J.E. - SHAPES THAT KISS THE LIPS OF GOD
With "Shapes That
Kiss the Lips of God", J.E. Sunde has channeled his songwriting into a
beautiful, exploratory album. It will blow you away.
Taking his cues from influences like Leonard Cohen and Nina Simone, he
puts his own spin on storytelling from the first song, "Mother Fury,
