ABSURDIST - ILLUSORY
Originally recorded
and released in 2012, "Illusory" went down as one of the most ground
breaking underground metal records in the state of Texas, quite
possibly (and arguably) in the US. Catching the attention of some huge
bands in the extreme music world, this record became highly sought
after, and was out of print for quite some time, which led to it only
being available on a digital format.
That was until now.
Re-issued with original artwork and a new layout, this 15 track
masterpiece is now available on a limited edition run of only 300
copies from Blackhouse.

ARAPACIS - SUBURBAN MIST
Montreal-based metal
band AraPacis is proud to announce the release of their latest album,
"Suburban Mist." on Blackhouse Records. This marks the bands ninth
full-length album, which continues their mission of blending 1970s hard
rock and progressive rock with modern metal genres such as prog metal,
doom metal, and metalcore.
Led by Scots singer Michelle Macpherson, guitarist Jerry Fielden and
keyboardist David Stone, ex-Rainbow, AraPacis has created a unique
sound that has garnered them attention and accolades in the metal
world. The band has shared the stage with notable acts such as Blaze
Bayley, Uli Jon Roth, Anvil, Raven, the Agonist, and Doro, to name a
few.
"Suburban Mist" also features the talents of Jean Audet on bass,
Gwendolyne Krasnicki on violin, Scott Haskin on drums, and Gillan
Macpherson-Briggs on backing vocals. The album also boasts a very
special guest, Derek Sherinian of Sons of Apollo/Dream Theater, who is
featured on the title track.
With "Suburban Mist," AraPacis delivers a powerful and introspective
album that explores the struggles of urban, suburban and rural life and
the human condition. Fans of the bands previous work will find much to
enjoy here, while newcomers will discover a band with a unique sound

BURDEN - TRUE UNTIL THE END
Burden was
Vancouver's first straight edge band to make a mark outside of
Vancouver and probably one of the first to bring a hint of new school
hardcore into the local scene. At the time, there really wasn't much to
brag about in the western Canadian hardcore. All the attention was
given to Ontario. But Burden was one of the bands who changed that.
Formed by founding members Jason Kolins (vocals), Sean Spear & Mike
Orpen (guitars) and Mark Thomson (bass), the band appeared on numerous
compilations and had a handful of certainly successful releases
worldwide, respectively. After years of touring Canada, the United
States and Europe, Burden disbanded in 2004, with members going on to
play in Blue Monday, On, Go It Alone, Bishops Green, Keep It Clear,
Vacant State, Still Above Snakes, Eliminator Stagnation73 and others.
Fast-forward to present day, 2021, original recordings were unearthed,
and "True Until the End" 1997-2014 The complete discography, will see
Burden's music available once again in limited (300 copy) run physical
format for the first time in years through Blackhouse Limited. Coming
in at over 20 tracks, the CD format will be housed in a deluxe digipak
with a full retrospective booklet.

DEHISCENT / STERILEPRAYER - SPLIT
The ties between
hardcore punk, metal, doom, experimental, and noise have been very
apparent throughout the years. It seems as though it is not surprising
when you find that the same people that grew up on bands like Black
Flag, T.S.O.L and Minor Threat could also tell you all about St. Vitus,
Melvins, Throbbing Gristle, Wolf Eyes, Merzbow, and countless others.
The community is vast, and in a lot of cases the crossover is a
biproduct of members cutting their teeth in the punk scene before
transforming and shifting direction for the sake of keeping things
evolving. Washington state's Dehiscent and Sterileprayer are no
exception to the rule.
Blending the best elements of hardcore, metal and doom to present a
heady and brooding experience, Dehiscent features ex-members of some
prominent Seattle-area bands. Influences across the spectrum, Dehiscent
melds the straightforward thoughtful grooved-out heaviness of Sabbath,
Cathedral and the Melvins with the depraved and scowled elements of
bands like Eyehategod and the old Pessimiser Records bands like Crom
and 16, and Grief. A listening experience that truly leaves its sonic
mark among the heavy music community.
As for Sterileprayer, the listening experience is a total change.
Having a slew of releases under his belt receiving critical acclaim
from the likes of Cvlt Nation, MetalSucks, Decibel Magazine, and more,
these five tracks are a array of variety. From harsh noise to
soundtrack-esque ambient music, You'll encounter the loud, the
nearly-silent, and everything in between. Channeling the influences of
old Atrax Morgue to Einstürzende Neubauten to Caterina Barbieri to
Merzbow, the range is vast and all-encompassing. A truly unique
compilation of works contributed to the fold.

Better known as Brandon Caldwell, vocalist for Relapse Records
grindcore band The Drip, the artist/producer has been working closely

RAS KASS - I'M NOT CLEARING SHXT!
INCS dares to sample
what very few artists, IF ANY, could clear: Elvis Pressley, Prince,
Disneys' Star Wars: The Mandalorian, and even Shirley Temple. When
asked about this gumption, Ras Kass smiles slyly and matter-of-factly
drawls, "Couldnt afford to if I wanted to, I don't have a major label
budget; It's not even for sale on itunes so technically I'm just making
art. I ain't clearin' shit bro! haha"
...INCS is not a mixtape nor does Ras Kass consider it an album, but
rather the first in a series of what he calls inyl Playlists'. Usually
the goal of an album in the typical music business sense is to monetize
on videos (he isnt) sale songs/albums on major platforms like iTunes
(he isnt) and then to sale merch such as vinyl or CDs (he can't). I
know what youre thinking..."Incredibly Bad business model!" Voted "One
of the best rappers of all time" by Pitchfork and "Top 50 MC's of All
Time" by About.com. LP and CD editions both limited to 300 copies each.

Washington state underground lords Rot Monger, Infrablaster, and Honey
Badger have teamed up for a 3-way split album to set the pace for
powerviolence and grindcore in 2017. A concept in the works for a year,

alter-ego of Dylan Ross, is a multi-genre songwriter producer based out
of Seattle, WA. A cult following-backed prolific artist, Rozz has
returned from a hiatus with his new album, "Epiphania", a collection of
14 meticulously-crafted new tracks that stray from his signature
horror-themed doom rap, and instead explores a more tongue-in-cheek
romantic r&b/pop side.

Sterileprayer is the
experimental music project from Pacific Northwest based drummer Scott
Rozell (Moral Crux, Scatterbox, Green Jelly), though it sounds nothing
like the bands he has played for over the years. Touching on metal,
noise, industrial, and ambient spectrums, Rozell created the moniker to
represent the overall tone, STERILEPRAYER aimed to create a grim and
