Treepeople - Actual Re-Enactment is the final Treepeople album rereleased on vinyl for the first time. Originally released in 1994 on CD and cassette only, C/Z Records has given GLR exclusive rights to press 250 copies on Vinyl. Never to be repressed again. The final Treepeople album was written by the remaining members after Doug Martsch (Built to Spill, Halo Benders) left the band and moved back to Boise. The remaining members poured their hearts into this release knowing it was their last release with C/Z Records, whom they had a three record contract. Scott Schmaljohn (State of Confusion, The Hand, Stuntman) has always shared lead guitar/vocals with Doug Martsch but this time he is joined John Polle (Pullman, Ignatius, Thin Section). These songs are a continuation of their last album - "Just Kidding" Where Scott and John continue the same Jangly Jigsaw Guitar songs and lyrics. This could also be considered the beginning of their next band, Stuntman. |
