With one foot on the OC octaves curb and one foot in the OC gutter, this brilliant disc is a perfect mix of melody and mayhem. "If It Ain't" features the lead vocal debut of John Bosco, (D.I. and Crash Kills Four), who laid down a one take, go-for-the-jugular attack that takes the Love Canal sound to the next level. With Bosco at the helm, Love Canal's new release has been described as the blue album (Adolescents) meets the black album (Bonecrusher's "Working For Nothing"), a sonic ripper recorded by the legendary Cameron Webb (producer/engineer for Motorhead) and mastered by "the master", Jack Control who famously restored the Fear Demos for Lee Ving.
